the owner/operator of Mark's Montana Trophy Hunts. I am Montana Licensed
Outfitter #6049 and outfitting is my sole profession.
I was raised in the outfitting business and, being a
native Montanan, I am a second generation Montana
Outfitter. I have extensive experience hunting,
guiding, and packing the Absoroka-Beartooth
wilderness area adjacent to the northern boundary
of Yellowstone National Park. I make my home in
Livingston, Montana and run my outfitting operation
on private land ranches located in south central
Montana. The ranches that I lease offer my clients
exclusive hunting rights for trophy big game animals
including: Trophy Mule Deer hunting during the
November rut, Trophy Bull Elk(by permit only) with
either bow or rifle, and Antelope in combination
with mule deer. In addition, I offer Sharptail Grouse, Hungarian Partridge,
Spring Turkey, and blue ribbon trout fishing on the Big Horn, Yellowstone, and
other famous Montana trout streams. I will gladly arrange Spring Black Bear,
Winter Mountain Lion, and Fall Wolf hunts. Lastly, I run winter coyote hunts
out of my base camp. These hunts may offer the client hunter the opportunity
to harvest a very rare "black" coyote found in my area. The Montana hunting
district where my hunts take place is HD590. This area has provided previous
clients with exceptional hunting opportunity in some of the most trophy rich
habitat Montana has to offer. Previous clients have harvested P&Y bull elk up
to 403P&Y official gross, P&Y mule deer up to 202P&Y gross non-typical, B&C
bull elk up to 385B&C gross, B&C mule deer up to 205B&C gross non-typical,
and B&C mule deer up to 201B&C gross typical. Montana HD590 has produced
bulls up to 431B&C official typical. Until just recently, south central Montana
had produced the "world record" P&Y bull elk.
Being a native Montanan, hunting is a vital part of my heritage. It is my
intention to work on your behalf to protect this right in any way I can. I am an
active member of the Montana Outfitters and Guides Association-MOGA and I
am a 2010 hunt donor and member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation-RMEF
